Osborne Offers Program on Tallgrass Prairies Posted 15 July 2008 Looking to get out of the house and learn something new? Visit the Osborne Nature Center this Thursday, July 17, and learn about the fascinating world of the tallgrass prairie. On Thursday, the Tallgrass Prairie Center of Cedar Falls will be on hand to discuss prairies in Iowa and answer questions that you have about them. The center opened in 1999 and has since helped plant thousands of acres of prairie throughout the state. To learn more visit www.tallgrassprairiecenter.org or plan on attending this month's program!
