New Grant Wood Exhibit Now on Display

"The Heartland - Seen Through An Artist's Eyes," an exhibit featuring interpretive displays on Grant Wood's artwork, as well as local artists and their images of the heartland, is now on display at Heartland Acres Agribition Center in Independence. The exhibit will be on display now through October 5.
 
As a part of the new exhibit, the center will present Super Saturday - Just for Kids! "Artsy Saturday" on Aug. 2 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
 
Kids can see the current exhibit: "The Heartland: Seen Through An Artist's Eye" and then become part of the American Gothic Painting and much more!

Cost is $4 per child. This program is for children ages 6 to 13 years. Preregistration is requested by Saturday, July 26.
