Backbone Bluegrass Festival Begins Friday

The 27th Annual Backbone Bluegrass Festival begins
tomorrow, Friday, July 25 and will three days of entertainment for the
entire family, ending on Sunday, July 27. Listen to great music Friday
night 6:30 - 10:30 p.m., Saturday, all day; and Sunday 9 a.m. until 3
p.m.
Featured musicians at this year's festival include:
Faris Family Band, from Kansas, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday;
Jefferson County Bluegrass Band, from Wisconsin,
Saturday and Sunday;
String Fever Bluegrass Band, from Minnesota,
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday;
Bluegrass Addiction, from Iowa,Friday, Saturday, and Sunday;
CedarValley Bluegrass, from Iowa,Friday, Saturday, and Sunday;
Highway Home, from Iowa, Friday and Saturday; and the
Strawberry Pickers, from Iowa, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Backbone Bluegrass Festival is located near Backbone State Park
Grounds, just off Hwy 3 on W-69 (Dundee Rd.) 3 miles South, 1/2 mile
West.
A food stand will be available on the grounds. Saturday morning
workshops will be held. Cash drawings of $100 will be held Friday and
Saturday nights. Camping is available.
